SIA "OPTIV" is a registered medical institution based on caring for people's health and work ability. Our activities started with employee health checks, but today our goal is broader – to improve healthcare accessibility throughout Latvia, regardless of residents' place of residence or social status.
Our Social Mission
We recognize that timely medical assistance in regions and rural areas is often not available. Therefore, we have created a mobile healthcare model that provides on-site checks where they are most needed.
Our Priorities:
- Accessibility: Doctor visits in rural areas, reducing inequality in healthcare.
- Support for Seniors: Improving quality of life and social integration.
- Early Diagnosis: Detecting diseases at an early stage, reducing the burden on the healthcare system.
Social Project
Currently, we have set a special goal – to perform 200 free mobile spirometry checks for people from social exclusion risk groups. This service is aimed at early COPD and asthma diagnosis:
- People with disabilities and seniors (54+);
- People in poverty and the long-term unemployed;
- People with substance use disorders and unemployed individuals with dependents.
